Feelings Wheel Pillow
I've made my own Feelings Wheel pillow! Why would I do that, when Feelings Wheel pillows already exist? Well, after starting at this pillow for hours in my office, and noticing all the ways I would make it better, I finally have put my money where my mouth is.
This one has improvements like: larger print and black font for increased legibility, and better and brighter colors. But more than just the aesthetic, I curated each and every word to be the most common and helpful emotion words while also having fewer words so it is easy to read and not overwhelming. This has been invaluable for my clients to be able to identify emotions and activate memories in Phase 3 of EMDR. Also, the back of the cover has a list of affirmations that can be used as the positive belief in EMDR (Positive Cognition/PC) Phase 3 or for practicing gratitude and repeating affirmations in general.
I wanted to make a simple and effective tool available for my clients, as requested, and other therapists. I hope you enjoy this pillow as much as my clients and I do!
